Na noite do último domingo (25), aconteceu no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles, a 17ª edição do BET Awards. A premiação elege os melhores artistas da comunidade negra.

A edição teve apresentação feita pela atriz Leslie Jones (Caça-Fantasmas) e consagrou Beyoncé como a maior vencedora de todos os tempos. A cantora levou cinco prêmios, Álbum do Ano, Melhor Artista Feminina de R&B/Pop e Vídeo do Ano pelo clipe de Sorry foram alguns deles.
